Thank you Lowes on 12th street!

Lowes on 12th street has come to help our garden.  They are building us a shed and installing flood lighting, as well as donating tools.  We appreciate your donations of supplies and labor so much!

We, the Coronado Student Council members will lead our school by keeping the school clean and safe, helping students be respectful and responsible and making the playground a better and safer place.

Our Celebrations

We are happy to announce the following student council successes:


In August we joined with PTA to load 40 backpacks with supplies and send them off to 4 different school in our area.  We helped kids start the year off right!


In August we contact Home Depot and Lowes to replenish materials in our garden.  Thank you Home Depot on Eubank and Central for donating shovels.  Thank you Lowes on 12th street for sending a partner to work with Ms. Lauren to make our garden the best it has ever been!


September 22-We enjoyed escorting Mayor Berry and APS superintendent onto our school grounds for a press conference. 


October 15th-Run for Renewal-helped at water stations.  This 5K helps the Albuquerque Rescue Mission right near our school.


November 1-4-3rd Annual Candy Drive.  We collected a total of 170.2 pounds of candy!  This will be donated to Cosmetic Dentistry of New Mexico to go overseas to troops.  Ms. Khalsa's class brought in the most, at 21.6 pounds. 


Toy Drive was in December.  We donated lots of good toys, books and games to the Barrett House.


Food Drive was in February.  Donations went to SteelBridge.  Sra. Lopez's class donated over 100 items!


March 31-Test Pep Rally.  Our theme: Try Everything!
